What does zero waste mean at Saponetti? At Saponetti, zero waste means we strive to eliminate waste by reusing containers, refilling products, and ensuring that all materials used in our operations are recyclable or compostable.

How does your refill delivery system work? Our refill products are delivered in refundable durable containers allowing your you to refill your pre-existing containers at home and at your convenience. Empty containers are collected on subsequent deliveries to be cleaned, sanitized, and refilled closing the loop on single-use packaging.

Can I refill my own containers in person? Absolutely! Bring your clean, dry containers to our retail store. We will weigh (tare) your empties and fill according to your instructions. We are a full-service refill service, meaning we take care of the refills for you.

How do your cleaning products compare in effectiveness to conventional single-use plastic packaged alternatives? Our refillable cleaning products deliver the same level of effectiveness as conventional single-use packaged products available in the market. We supply a range of product categories and options to suit your specific needs.

I have sensitivities to fragrances. Do you offer scent-free options? We provide a range of fragrance-free options across all our product categories, as well as DIY household cleaning ingredients suitable for a range of non-toxic household cleaning applications.

How do your prices compare to traditional single-use plastic packaged cleaning products? Refilling saves money. When comparing products of equal quality, choosing bulk-sized options and refilling existing containers proves more cost-effective than buying multiple single-use packaged items.

What eco-friendly certifications or accreditations do your products carry to ensure their sustainability and environmental impact? We carry a range of brands and products. Certifications and accreditations include B Corp, Leaping Bunny, EcoCert, Health Canada DIN registered solutions.

Are there any additional resources or support available to help businesses transition to using your refill bulk cleaning products? Yes, your success is important to us and we’re here to help. We will work with you to set up your own in-house refill system, assist in training your team, and provide onsite reference materials and product safety data sheets. More than that, we will also help track your impact.

Where is Saponetti located? Saponetti is based in Toronto, Canada. We're conveniently situated on the Bloor subway line between Dufferin and Lansdowne Stations.

What are Saponetti's operating hours? Our retail store is open from Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

How do I place an order? Orders can be placed directly through our website. Just check if you are within our delivery zone, select your products, and choose your delivery or pick-up options at checkout.


What payment methods are accepted? We accept major credit cards, and other digital payment methods listed on our checkout page.
 We're currently not able to process PayPal but we're working on integrating it in the near future.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it? You can modify or cancel your order by contacting our customer service before Tuesday 5pm, for same week delivery. Please refer to our returns policy for details.


Do you offer delivery, and what are the delivery zones? We offer delivery within specific zones in Toronto. Check if your address is within our delivery zone.


How does the refill service work? Our refill service operates seamlessly: We deliver your chosen products in refillable jars right to your doorstep. Once you've used the contents, we take back the empty jars on your next delivery. These jars are then thoroughly cleaned and refilled, ready to be used again. This process helps us maintain a continuous loop of reuse, significantly minimizing waste and supporting our environmental commitments.

How does the deposit and points system work for returns? When you buy a product in a jar or jug from us, we turn the deposit fee into loyalty points—125 points for jars and 500 points for jugs—that go right into your account. You can use these points at checkout to save on future purchases. Ready to return your empties? Just bring them to our store or give them to our delivery team when they bring your next order. It’s a great way to help the planet and get a little back every time you shop with us!

How does Saponetti minimize environmental impact with packaging? We use refundable glass jars other containers that customers return for refills. We also use electric vehicles for deliveries to reduce carbon emissions.


What should I do with empty containers? Empty containers should be rinsed and returned to us during your next delivery for a refill or proper sanitization and reuse.


Can I return jars and bottles for refills? Absolutely, we strongly encourage you to return your jars and bottles for refills. Our deposit system is designed to ensure that these containers are returned to us. This approach is fundamental to our commitment to sustainability and supports the circular economy model we uphold. By actively participating in this system, you help us significantly reduce waste and maintain a continuous cycle of reuse, ensuring that every container contributes to a lasting, eco-friendly solution.

How will I know when my order will be delivered? If you place your order by Tuesday 12 PM, you will receive your delivery either on Thursday or Friday, depending on your address.

What are the shipping costs for online orders? Shipping costs $8 for orders below $85, after any discounts and deposit coupons are applied. For orders of $85 or more, shipping is free. We deliver exclusively within specified zones in Toronto using electric vehicles (EVs), ensuring our operations remain environmentally friendly. Please note, we do not ship products by mail or through any other delivery services outside of our EV network.
